Chauke Quantity Surveyors was established in 1995 in Polokwane. Its founding partners, Lucas Chauke and Hannes de Wet, shared a vision in which they believed that by combining their respective individual strengths they could create a quantity surveying firm that would meet the demands of our rapidly changing society. With this vision in mind, they set out to prove that a partnership of shared ideas, trust and transparency could provide clients with what they most required: service, excellence and ensured delivery in quantity surveying and project management.

Since its inception in 1995 Chauke Quantity Surveyors has experienced tremendous growth. It has proved itself to be a firm with a strong understanding of the flexibility required to achieve success in the challenging reality of South Africa.

Chauke Quantity Surveyors prides itself on consistently going the extra mile to meet the deadlines and needs of its clients.

Offices were also opened in Nelspruit in 1997, Plettenberg Bay in 2003 and Pretoria in 2004.

 

Training programmes

 

Chauke Quantity Surveyors is committed to building capacity among the historically disadvantaged communities. The students are exposed to all spheres of Quantity Surveying, and are trained in the full range of consultant services with specialized knowledge, expertise and depth of resources available to all our Clients on all projects. Strict supervision is applied and the students are motivated to develop a keen interest in the profession. They are guided through the entire spectrum of office work and field work. Chauke Quantity Surveyors is also committed to giving financial assistance to students and supported many students in this regard. As a result of our training programme many students have gone on to start and manage successful businesses of their own.
